The service temperature of the valve is determined by the material of the valve. The service temperature of common valve materials is as follows:
Gray iron valve – 15 ~ 250 ℃
Malleable iron valve – 15 ~ 250 ℃
Ductile iron valve – 30 ~ 350 ℃
The maximum service temperature of high nickel cast iron valve is 400 ℃
Carbon steel valve – 29 ~ 450 ℃, recommended temperature T < 425 ℃ in JB / T3595-93 standard
The maximum service temperature of 1Cr5Mo and alloy steel valve is 550 ℃
The maximum service temperature of 12cr1mova and alloy steel valve is 570 ℃
1Cr18Ni9Ti, 1cr18ni12mo2ti stainless steel valves – 196 ~ 600 ℃
Copper alloy valve – 273 ~ 250 ℃
The maximum operating temperature of plastic valve (nylon) is 100 ℃
The maximum service temperature of plastic valve (chlorinated polyether) is 100 ℃
The maximum service temperature of plastic valve (PVC) is 60 ℃
Plastic valve (PCTFE) – 60 ~ 120 ℃
Plastic valve (PTFE) – 180 ~ 150 ℃
The maximum service temperature of plastic valve (natural rubber diaphragm valve) is 60 ℃
